Wool...
You know what I really love about good 100% natural wool yarn? What my favorite thing is? The vegetable matter... Most people would probably say that's their least favorite thing about wool. But really, it's my favorite. Because it proves that this stuff is real, natural, grown-on-a-sheep-in-a-field-somewhere wool... It's not acrylic or nylon or polyester or any other synthetic crap modern science has come up with. It's not vegetable fibers created by some elaborate and/or labor intensive process. Nope, the vegetable matter gives me tangible proof that it's just plain, simple wool from a real, live sheep. And for some reason, I really love that...

Ooooh.. I got a lot of that from-the-sheep vegetable stuff with the Bartlett Yarns stuff I bought at MSWF this summer. It was a bit of a surprise, honestly, but in a good way! I know what you mean: it shows it came from sheep in a field somewhere, rather than being extruded in a factory somewhere. :P Betcha didn't know there were sheep factories, huh?

That's really cool about your MSWF yarn... Still so want to go to that one of these days...
But, please, tell me that you're kidding about sheep factories! 'Cause that would just be too horrible!
Either way, I'm still in love with this Bernat Felting Wool, which has quite a bit of vm in it for a commercially produced yarn... Went and got more of it today, and I can't believe I forgot to ask them if they'd be getting more in soon or not. If not, I'll have to order off the internet.
