Starbucks has agreed to make all the milk used in its US stores rBGH-free by December 31, 2997! Woot! See more in the press release here.
Not that it will make me buy more Starbucks. I don't like coffee (or any of their other cover-up-the-taste-of-coffee-with-ice-cream-and-sugar crap).

A friend of mine told me they burn their coffee by leaving it in the carafe and letting it sit over a heating element. Coffee tastes bitter enough as it is! Burnt coffee must taste truly evil.
They very well might do that. I haven't heard. Another friend of mine works at Starbucks and loves their coffee. I think she just started drinking it cause it was free and then it killed her taste buds. It's truly heinous stuff!
